Accessibility

What we aim for, what we have tested, and what we know is not right yet. Last updated 27 September 2026.

What we are aiming at

WCAG 2.2 level AA across this site and the client portal. Several of our clients have public sector accessibility duties of their own, so a portal they cannot use is not a portal we can sell them.

What is built in

  • Everything is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible 2px focus ring.
  • A skip link to the main content, as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Headings run in order and describe the structure rather than the styling.
  • Form fields have real labels, required fields are marked, and errors say what went wrong and what to do.
  • Colour is never the only signal. Links in running text carry an underline as well as a colour, and the desk status is written out in words beside its coloured dot.
  • Animation is small and functional, and it stops under reduced-motion settings.

What we have tested

Automated checks run on every change. Manual keyboard and screen reader passes are scheduled before the site moves to the main domain, and this section will be updated with what they found rather than replaced with a claim.

What is not right yet

  • A full manual screen reader pass has not been completed. Until it has, we are not claiming conformance. We are building to it.
  • The client portal opened on 4 October 2026. Its sign-in and registration pages pass our automated accessibility checks, but none of it has yet been tested with assistive technology in a real session.
  • We have not yet had this site reviewed by a disabled user. We intend to, and it will be worth more than our own testing.

If something does not work

Tell us and we will fix it. Email hello@saueglobal.com. Say what you were trying to do, what happened, and what you were using. We will reply within one working day and give you a date for the fix rather than a thank-you.

If you need something from this site in another format, ask. That is not a special favour and you do not need to explain why.
